My name is Jeffrey W. Robinson, and painting has been at the center of my life. Born into a family of painters and creators, I grew up surrounded by art in its many forms. Over the years, my creative journey has taken me through published drawings, signpainting, cartooning and editorial illustration, ultimately leading me to embrace fine art as my true home. 

For me, art is story telling. Each painting is an invitation for the viewer to step into a narrative, to drift into a world of imagery and become part of the story unfolding on canvas. Whether through subtle portraiture or bold, modern abstract works, I strive to create pieces that connect on both a visual and emotional level. 

Much of my abstract work carries what I call a stained-glass appearance; a style that blends vibrant color, layered composition, and structure. This approach allows me to explore the interactions of light, form and imagination in a way which feels contemporary and timeless. 

I value the creative use of color and composition above all, and hold them as guiding principles in my practice. Commissions and themed exhibitions are especially rewarding, as they challenge me to explore new ideas while remaining true to my inner artistic voice. 

Ultimately, my paintings are about connection – between artist and viewer, between image and story, between color and emotion. I want each painting to be more than something to look at; I want it to be an experience to step into.
